Performance Reclaimed Non-Potable Water Meters (PMNR)
Performance Reclaimed Non-Potable Water Meters are used to measure non-potable water or water that should not be consumed by the public because it has not been treated to drink.
They are available in the following sizes:
- 5/8” (DN 15mm)
- ¾” (DN 20mm)
- 1” (DN 25mm)
- 1 1/2” (DN40mm)
- 2” (DN 50mm)
They are differentiated from the other multi-jets by a purple looking register cover and register shroud. This distinguished colour makes it easily identifiable and the colour signals “non-potable”.
This meter should be used to measure backwash water from water filter plants, raw water for use on golf courses or to the cemetery; filling fire tanker trucks and other similar situations.
Despite being used to measure non-potable water, you will find that the PMNR is just as accurate as all the other cold multi-jet water meters that Performance Meter Inc offers.
For the 5/8” PMNR, it has a low flow rate of ¼ USGPM and a high flow rate of 20 USGPM. It very lightweight and weighs about 4.5 pounds and is approximately 4 ¾” tall.
The 1” has an impressive continuous flow of 50 USGPM and a starting flow of 5/64 USGPM.
